Hey, I'm Conner.

I am a combat veteran, retired from the Army National Guard with 20 years of service and two overseas deployments. Many passions have helped shape me. From soldier to yoga teacher, I have fit a lot into one lifetime already, but writer is the hat that fits the most comfortably. Like a well-worn ballcap that fits a little better each time you wear it, writing is my home, even if it does look a little frayed at the edges.

I write fantasy fiction, which has taken many forms over the years, but the novel I will be releasing in the fall of 2026, From the Ashes of Oaths, would be considered epic high fantasy with a hard, rules-based magic system. As the first book in the Wards of Akshara series, it begins to shape the world of Lutaea, and introduce the two main characters of the series. This is a world struggling to revive itself after a devastating worldwide collapse, but more post-societal than post-apocalyptic. Anna and Caeliph have their work cut out for them, separately navigating the Waycountry as they seek out the tools to help them survive in a broken world and subvert a conspiracy that threatens to change the very fabric of what little society remains.
